Predator
The Predator is the ultimate hunter. You would not want to be the prey. From Dark Horse comics, these alien beings are formidable foes. They have battled with the aliens. They have crossed over to the DC universe and battled the JLA. They are brilliant hunters with a huge array of weapons. The predator knows exactly how to hunt the prey.
When the prey was Superman, they used biological warfare. Exposing Superman to an alien virus that strips him of his powers, before hunting him. In a twist in the plot, terrorists enter the picture, the Predator joins forces with Superman to take down the terrorists. The Predator gives Superman a cure to that virus, before setting off an explosion killing itself and levelling the place.
In JLA vs Predators, the predators know the powers of the members of the JLA and have their own measures to deal with these powers.
The Predator has been pit against Batman, Green Lantern, Tarzan and a whole host of other heros as well.
