James Bond action figures are collectibles. His look changes with each actor who takes on that classic role. The villians are larger than life too. From the metal toothed Jaws to Gold finger. All the action, explosions and larger than life challenges make him an action figure boys want to own.
Imitation is the best form of flattery. I guess the spoofs prove his popularity. He has been spoofed brilliantly in Austin Powers as well.
